I'm currently shopping for my first kayak and figure Albion is close to home, good place to see a great bunch of rigs decked out for fishing.

Time to batten down the hatches men, it's going to get interesting out there. Reports from a few sources indicate we are going to have our work cut out for us. I figure it will make for good story, plenty of excitement and good times.

Wind has been howling off Pt Arena all week.  Plus I heard a big south swell is forecast starting Friday.  Could be bumpy.

Sounds like it gonna be A rough one in big blue, I hear there are fish in the river! Maybe A big bass will win the tourney!!!

Worst case is that this turns out to be a nice camping event. No point in getting all silly in the ocean just because "we planned it."

I am definitely Freakin out right now   but forecast is a forecast, we won't know if its doable or not till we get there... My Boss just talk to me about my OFF for Thursday and Friday, one of my Jr Project Manager just drop a bomb, his wife is having surgery and wont make it to work on Friday, being the Sr. I was ask to cancel and cover for him not good, so I layout a scenario, I said I paid $75.00 for my site, Regitration $45.00, I bought gear and stuff specifically for this event cost me $200.00, not to mention the chance of winning the $1100 kayak, thats close to $1500 you want me to cancel my vacation? Write me a check for the that amount! Looked at me and smile your "crazy" I said no I am practical   I am not gonna miss the priceless moment of meeting this awesome brothers...

Oh yea I'm gonna drag my kayak over the rocks sit in it and catch the winning cab

we won't know anything until sat morning. it is possible the wind won't kick up til later morning so we can still get a few hours of fishing in.  probably not too wise to get far up or down the coast for the majority of us (some of the crazier ones maybe)

i definitely have no problem going up there just to hang out.  the weather report (on land) is looking good at least!

Remember Sean has the right to cancel if the conditions are unsafe.
