Just Kidden!

Having the day off, I did some testing with the rod extenders plus rod holders.  Launched @0740 from Discovery Park and headed into shallow flats to anchor where water is dirty and little high than normal.  Gotta say they are not rigid as they wobble some back n forth when touching the rods (I'm sure this is due to the deck where my mounts are).  Today I'd played with 3oz on each rod and they worked okay.  I only manage to get some small nibbles with no takedowns so no feedback on how they hold when prone to takedowns.  And works fine when paddling with no adjustments.  I will eventually do more testing with 6-8oz and maybe just use one piece of the rod extenders on each side instead of two in the fall.

hey yester, your green boat looks great!   do you think those rod holders would be strong enough to troll for butts- 12 oz weight, flasher and bait?

I was thinking the same. I like keeping my rod holders closer to the deck in case a big fish strikes.
I'm gonna have to agree with you guys.

Transformation will happen this fall :smt005 :smt044!
