Man, it's just like last years hookup. I wish I could make it. I can still remember my
first ever halibut on the kayak there. Perhaps someone will post a hookup on Friday too.

This is a sorta-exploratory trip. I've heard tale of halibut being caught at ARW but none first hand. The PB's have been getting them at Oyster.

Ben, forget the dentist, the halibut will supply you with all the teeth you need!

You can always use frozen anchovies or swim baits if you can't find live bait. It doesn't sound like the bite has turned on yet but I'm still feeling the temptation to join you guys. If the butts aren't biting I might have to go out to deep water and try for a big 7 gill or leapord.

Alright, 7.30am at the rockwall parking lot. I managed to scratch up a grand total of two live bait agents, hope to make some more on the water tomorrow. Bring frozen chovies just in case. Drift towards the Bay bridge on the outgoing, drift back on the incoming.
