Adam, thanks. I had the time of my life. It was kind of bittersweet for me because I wanted Patrick to hook up badly. I am blessed and the luckiest little shit I know. Oh yea, we were almost made fun of by a chick in a drift boat because when the fish swam away we all hugged each other. In a manly way that is. :smt008

Truly fine fish.... awesome read and nice shots... They fight so well... the first one I hooked and landed ( years ago ) was two runs and three jumps ahead before I caught up... they are so fast.... Way To Go...!!!

Great action shot. Looks like you were in the crusial momment. Still drifting while trying to get to the shore or anchored so you can fight her. Even though the fish is bright, I'd say looking at the anal fin she's already made the babies. They often wear their tail and or annal fin when making the redds. Sometimes they get in and out so fast especially the wild ones they still look pretty clean. The ones in Salmon creek do this so quick it's hard to tell the difference from up or downstreamers sometimes. When the rivers are up they get in, and get out fast. Sounds like she fought like a champion!! WTG! And ditto on your reference to Allen.  :smt002

Now that is a nice fish, in many ways!
