Lake Tahoe 9/10

Left Friday to fish Tahoe. Got up there to see white caps everywhere and big wind, so I passed. Thought Saturday might be better. On the way to the launch the wind started to kick up and only got worse, so i didn't bother putting in at all. Checked the temps on Sunday. It is literally FREEZING there. 32 degrees at 8:30 in the morning.
If you plan on fishing Tahoe from here on out, treat it like the ocean. Plan on cold conditions, and be prepared for rough water. I wasn't expecting it to be like this in early September. I will be better prepared next time.
