I was/am going to go (Tomales) pump shrimp around 3:00 but can't get any other takers so....it really doesn't make cents/sense to go out by myself. Still might go depending on mood/work.

I hope you find the pump time unc'.....i soooo want to give YOU, all the credit, after I hook one. :smt002

At any rate it's NOT going to be like trying to jig for rockfish in 15knot wind with whitecaps and a 6ft -8ftn/nw swell. The tide is not going to be that smokin' either. But it probably looks like it could well be fishy, very fishy. :smt035 Rock on Ben.

I'm with ya on the fishy thing...water looks beautiful.  I'm alrady making moves to get out there...
Might be like trying to sturgeon fish in 2-4 foot NE wind waves with whitecaps all around....and of course you'd be broadside to the waves due to the current..but that's the fun of SP bay!

I'm sure it will be like glass out there.

LOL...that looks familiar!

I'll keep my fingers crossed-- the forecast calls for the wind to change directions mid day- that's a good thing, as it probably means the E wind will be dropping as the morning goes on. I'm planning on being there now...though i may still have to work

I'm not gonna make it. Have fun out there.
O2B, thanks for mentioning the shrimp - if you did get some, I'm sure they won't go to waste.

I just got back from China C., a shrimp-pumping venture, for nada in the mud. Ive tried at a few places this week and havnt found any shrimpies at all. I still havnt tried Richardson bay but when I do, Im sure to be assaulted by an enviro-nut while Im plodding thru the muck. But I might wait till the sewage spill has a chance to thin out a touch before I start sucking out those holes.  :smt005

Well as it turned out HOLY TOLEDO and his brother Jack made it in time to go for some shrimp. I  shamelessly posted the outcome in fishing reports ..............see you all there in the morning.
