I don't think it's right at all and think u really need to get a life.

Talking to people like this is a great way to get yourself banned.  Consider yourself warned.

I'm just standing up for what I think is right.

But ... can you do that without attacking people?

Another great way to get yourself banned is to have one of the moderators accidentally run into your elbow! Hard! :smt075
Yeah, *you* should be banned for that!  :smt044
And he likes to give incendiary haircuts with doubly dried out tumbleweed.

  • Do you consider lingcod a filthy animal?

The tumbleweed incident allegedly took place a short period after this photo was taken.
I wouldn't go so far as to call a lingcod filthy but they're definitely dirty. But, a lingcod's got personality. Personality goes a long way.

I think it is disrespectful to talk ill of others when they our not even around to back them self.

I agree with you there. That's why when the original ban happened I never made another reference to it until now that ban 2.0 has occurred. Without using the persons name I posted in this appropriate thread my thanks to the moderators and my post stands. I will not mention this person online again unless he pops up again.

I don't want any bad blood over who you decide is worthy to 'stick up' for.....no matter how much I disagree. Thanks for the explanation. jim

PS: If you have more to say feel free to pm me. It will be kept private. My word. Otherwise I'll just consider us BFF's.

Questions...are all bans perma-bans or can they be reversed if there appears to be a true turning of the leaf?

Rich, the air was chilly and I sat right up to the fire to keep warm. Then Good Samaritan Andy shows up with this HUGE dried out tumbleweed and dumps it in the fire. Well, it only took about 5 seconds for the tumbleweed to explode into a fireball. The only way I could get out of my easy chair was to lean forward. Didn't burn, but did get VERY warm. Not for future campfires: be aware of Andy's whereabouts before cozying up to the fire.  :smt002

I don't know.  Why does it matter?

How would you know if that person appears to be "a true turning of the leaf?"

You'd let them back onto the board to display they've been sufficiently rehab'd to have their ban lifted.  Wait, WTF???  That can't be right . . . :smt044
