I made them for prizes, a couple gifts and a few for sale/trade.  I have most spoken for, but have two left for sale.  I will try to set one aside for you jedmo; try to catch me early!  I should have made more, but luckly ewb has made some real nice ones as well!

Thanks for the compliment.  I know my dad was admiring them today, and now wants a set for Father's day.  I will have to do something extra special on his.

The latest weather synopsis - gathered from multiple sources...

Thursday the swell builds to 7-8' and there's a west influence and a possibly potent south wind.  We chomp at the bit and know we can brave those swells - if only to set a few pieces of crab gear or try for a halibut for the sake of wanting so badly to fish...  It will be best spent meeting, greeting and getting comfortable I'd say...

Friday, ah Friday...  it starts out a bit nasty - I'll be ready to scan the conditions and go back to bed this day because I see the forecast holds significantly nicer water in the evening than in the morning...  Not to suggest you shouldn't ought to be ready for dawn patrol that day, but that's what I see right now...  Plenty of meeting, greeting, getting comfortable and down right partying will go down this day, so it's possible I may save my fishing nut until Saturday...  possible, not probable at this point!...

Because...  Saturday, oh, Baby, Saturday!  That day and Sunday too look so flat on the swell model!  OMG, I don't think I could've wished for better.  If this holds and the winds are light...  we're in for epic Cove - I'm talking EPIC... 

I'll stop.  I'm sorry.  I won't push any more...  tonight.

Thanks for keeping us updated on the projected ocean conditions for the weekend. We all know you're giggling like a 16 year old in the back of a car on prom night. Your wife is probably going insane having to deal with you right now. Have been at it all day long getting gear ready. Looked at my tackle after seeing Dom's stuff and thought it downright shameful. Needless to say, it will catch fish. Rod holders mounted and the deck  colored up with magic marker hash marks to serve as a redneck measuring stick. Fresh line on all reels-check, ab gear-check, copious quantities of beer-check, bag of AB guts for shore fishing-check. Looking forward to hanging with all you NCKA fiends.

I can't seem to locate the gear swap thread for GSC III (moderator please feel free to move this). If anyone has a cheap-o small bait caster that they wanna unload for a $5 or $10 (or trade for a knocker, dressed hooks, or knife jigs) can you bring it. I am trying to make a sabiki rig and need a basic reel that will fit the bill.

Jed, not sure what the MAX capacity is for the site since I have Ben and my friend Angel.  If the site is cool with it, come on down and pack them in!!!  I believe I know of another brothers site that may have room too, so we can probably work it out easy!
