i think maybe michael didn't need to be inspected since he had been inspected within 30 days. kayaks get 30 days if they bring their previous receipt.

You still get inspected, but you don't have to pay again within 30 days.

I'm more interested in how Michael got the minnows (and water) past the inspectors. I assumed that they also check your gear.

What a way to slay them!!!  Looks like you had a better day there than I have ever!   I had minnows last time, didn't do me any good at all...

Btw, they do inspect equipment like your PFD for wetness.  But they haven't asked too look inside my cooler yet

so on your first ocean trip we should expect, rockies, lings, butts and salmon!  Nice day on the water
