I spoke with Zilla today and he was thinking about putting together a MBF in Tahoe to take advantage of the ridiculously warm weather.  Anyone interested???

Ooooooooooo... You were reading my crazy mind. I was thinking about hitting it up pretty soon. I think that the winds are on the rise for a little bit though. Throw out some dates...

the weather has been great, flat glassy conditions all day. cold mornings in the teens afternoons in the upper 40,s. Next weekend is looking good with just a slight chance of some weather. Wind forecasts are for nothing above 5 mph from the SW. water temps are 39 to 40 degrees. I have been working to much to get out but will try this weekend and scout it out. There has been some macks in the teens to twentys. Once I get some feed back on who would be interested I can talk to a friend about rooms right in Kings beach on the water. We can launch from there and leave the yaks on the beach if it was to be a two day deal. Let me know. The snow and skiing is crap so it is not crowded.

If the dates are right, I am so there.  I'm with FM1, President's weekend would be best for me but it sounds like this get together would be sooner.  Gonna have to start earning some WAF!

Mickfish and I had lunch on Tues and were talking about this. I'm in south shore and have room for 3-5 people. It's about an hours drive @ 5:00 AM to Kings beach (maybe less). Zilla, Give me a holler If you would like some company for Recon. Randall

If it's president's weekend I'm going to try to make it.........Valentine's Day may throw a wrinkle in to those plans though.

I'm going to be up there on the 5th - 8th of Feb.  If there's a hookup possibility, I may be able to get away with bringing the yak and fishing one morning.
