Another week, another pound.  Started at 220, now at 216 or so, a 1/5 of the way to 200.  Not amazing but according to the wife (and this is what she does for a living) the ideal pace for long-term results.

I went for a long, brisk paddle at OAP, rode the MTB with Leah, and endured the hideous skating rink again...much to the delight of my daughters. Oh yeah...and I didn't eat much.

You want me to bring a cheesecake to the seminar? Your toes look kind of thin. :smt006 Seiously , way to go. Losing weight sucks sometimes. Especially when its lodged in behind the abdominal muscles. It takes getting to an anarobic state and maintaining that for as long as you can stand it, multiple times per week. But I did read somewhere that intense weightlifting burns more fat faster than anything.

This BLOTY is slowly becoming a habit.....that's a good thing!

Start         205.6
Week One  204.0
Week Two  203.2
Currently    202.0

The most important thing is I am being more physically active and spending more time outdoors......another bonus. I even hand split a third of a cord of wood one night and I don't even have a wood burning fireplace.  With another fifteen big   "rounds" still sitting in the driveway, guess I will be the the go to guy for camping firewood this year. :smt001

ps. Got a Hot "stock tip"...Futures in ice cream sales are plummeting and the sales of rice cakes are skyrocketing! :smt044

Camera batteries failed this morning, no replacements in the house, I'll post a picture in the morning - that's the bad news. The good news is that this morning the number was 271.0. Down from a start of 277.8, so almost 7 pounds lost so far.

I can't get my card reader to work. Unfortunately my Dr. put me on some meds that have weight gain as a side effect. I gained 5lbs so I'm up to 227 this morning. Aaarrgg!!! Stupid doctors. Fortunately it's a small perscription so I'll be done next week. Until then expect more weight gain instead of loss. Talk about a bummer  :smt010

Ok guys, no flyweight comments. I'm trying to get that 17.5 down to 10 (that's body fat %), while keeping that weight around 140.

This weekend I stayed home with the kids and cooked my own meals, so I was able to behave myself.  Also planted half a dozen fruit trees on Saturday and played rowdy with the kids quite a bit for exercise.
Start 194.7
w1 194
w2 192.2
w3 187.8
For a 1 week loss of 4.4 and a total loss of 6.9.  That also brings my BMI down from 28.7 to 27.7.  169lbs gets me under 25 for BMI so I guess that's my target.

I made a spreadsheet of weight vs time that calculates BMI and uses linear regression to calculate when you'll reach your target weight.  That way you can see where the end of the tunnel is and if it's getting nearer or farther.  If anyone wants a copy send me a PM and I'll email it to you.

Solid work again. For those with momentary set backs...remember its the long haul, not week to week.

Well dammit, I'm going the wrong direction.  :smt013
I gained 1.5 lbs this week weighing in at 194. I was 192.5 last week. I started at 197.
I did buy a new scale, which may have contributed to the difference, but it was most likely the fact that I never exercised last week. So, I'll publicly state that I will work out at least 3 times before next weigh in and will report back on whether or not I did so at the next weigh in.

Slowly but surely the weights are coming off. It has been hard lately though.
The cousins wants to hook up all the time to BBQ and drink. I would just try to
limit myself with 3 beers max and just eat little rather than stuffed my face like
there is no tomorrow. Starting weight again was 171.2lbs .
