This sounds like a reasonable response.  Please post a report and your findings.  I'm unable to make it this weekend.  Good luck to all.

I have NOT gotten a response from Mark, those are my own assumptions being drawn. I will talk to Mark on sunday and relay his message and opinions. I would really like one of you guys who are more educated in this matter show up and help talk politics.

Hi Yakers:

How many Yakers ask a Kayak vendor what their views on
Politics are,  before they buy gear? I only look for the best price and service. Marc is a good vendor and has done alot to help Yakers. Chuck and Alex both walked away with Prowlers 15 during the past. Sean of GW Kayak is the only other NorCal Vendors I have seen, go out of his way for Kayakers.

you are right, kayakers have not been asking about politics before choosing where to spend their money UNTIL NOW.  of course price is an important part of a decision when making a purchase, but there are larger issues. this forum will allow for our education and discussion of these matters. if we work together we can make a difference. please do not sacrifice the future just to save a few bucks in the present.

Politics matter to me.  Despite his support of COOL, Mark does promote Kayak fishing and I bought my last fishing boat from him.  MBK, who is closer to me and from whom I took my first kayak skills classes, was anti-fishing until just recently when they have had Allen giving fishing tours.  Heck, when I asked them about the prowler 13, they hadn't even heard of it.  I do like to spend money with people who will speak well of my sports behind my back........ :smt003
