Clear lake & minnows

Fished the deeper south end of the lake with 24 minnows each and buddy wdwrkr. Last minnow went in the water after 6 hours of fishing. The fish were bunched up, you find one and you've found a bunch. Lots of 16" to 18" fish, very healthy looking. Best one went 21".
Weather was gray and still.
The lakes needs rain!

If I were ever to hook my dream target size(24" or even a 23.5") I'd vow to never use a minnow for LMBass again!....straight "commando" for me.
