I'd go

sliver/black back....threadfin shad
gold/black back....shiner, bonus points for an orange belly
firetiger or other bright blugillish colors.....for chocolate milk conditions.

I don't recall blue and chrome ever being a consistent producer.
..........agarcia is just an ex-kayaker

Be careful, the delta bug can lead to a nasty case of bass thumb.  Here are two that you can't go wrong with out there depending on what you are fishing for and when.

Rattle trap in red craw
Lucky Craft LV-500 in Aurora shad

The rattle trap in this color is more of a LMB lure when they are active.  The LV has a black back with blue/silver sides, good for both bass species.  Don't forget to change out the hooks and rings so you don't get your heart broken.  (I think the split rings I took the pic of are one size too big, oops)

Sexy Shad has been the top color of the year.  Chrome with a black back or blue back are both descent colors.  Bleeding shad is also a good color.

Good luck.

i like the firetiger but only on sunny to light cloudy days (white clouds) from 12:00 - 2:00

My favorite though is Blue with either a silver or whit stripe from head to tail
Everybody should have the opportunity to fish
