I will try this again. I tried to post some pics from my new camera and something foul happened. I dont know what but it ruined the post.

Allen , Patrick and I launched at 10:30am to sunny skies and an easterly wind with chop 2-3 ft.I scored some good looking ghost shrimp at Tomales Bay the night before by pumping them up myself. We purchased some grass shrimp at LL and Aleen had some eel left over from another trip. After a short time of trying to find the SPOT we settled in for a 6 hour ride on the outgo. The wind would come and go but the chop and wakes from seen and unseen boats made for a heightened awareness all day. When the tide was running hard it put our port side directly to the east so we were buffeted on the side all day.Allen had a strike and hook around 3 and the sturgeon came unbuttoned at his bow. :smt010 This brought our spirit up a bit because the earlier part of the day was highlighted with only two rays.I got hooked up around 3:30 and was stoked to finally catch a sturgeon, my first ever. After bringing it to the kayak I knew it was short(3ft). I was glad anyway to finally get thst monkey off my back after not catching one. When we returned to the launch site we were gretted by mud. Lots and lots of mud. With the low being a -1.6 we had to push our kayaks through mud up yo the thighs at times over 50 yards. It was fun though and we were laughing all the way. Maybe Allen or Patrick will be so kind as to post some pics. Another great day on the water with two great guys. My new trident 15 worked so well I couldn't believe it. Very stable in somewhat poor conditons.

FYI:  I got to this post by going to Ravensblack member info and pressing "show last posts of this member" because I couldn't open the one in the fishing report section.

Sounds like a great day, Craig.  Hopefully you can get the photos downloaded.   :smt001
