met up with wizard who was hoping to break a streak of bad luck with zero fish on the last outing.  We played way up near sonoma creek, and another of his spots, for naught. Finally, he agreed to try my spot off china camp. We weren't there 10 min when he gets a nice pump that he misses. another 15 and i'm on...fat keeper.  half hour later i'm on again- wizard threatens to throw me overboard.  this fish is hot, and blazes out about 150-200 yds of line- i keep buttoning him down, and he keeps pulling it out. Just when i'm thinking ok we got to pull the anchor and chase him, he slows then stops a few minutes later i've got him turned and he's on his way back. this one is probably just a bit bigger than the last.
we hung around another hour for zero....

planning on hitting the same spot at same time in the tide tomorrow provided the wife allows.

no pics mooch! -- now that doesn't break my NY resolution, as it wasn't a yak outing!
