Nice job Mike,
Lets hookup this year, I've already got a lot of comp time to be used whenever the fishing is good.  Seems like the Russian has still not received a "big" plug of hatchery fish yet.  Any hole that is 3 feet or deeper is probably a good bet right now.  Most of the creeks in the lower and middle part of the river are getting to the point where they are too low for fish to move in, so if the mouth of the mainstem is open .......

AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After I got done jumping around the living room once I read your Thread Title, I settled down and read the  post.  haha

WTG Big Mike!!

Fishing in your backyard is WAY different than driving for 6 hours for the off chance.

I ended up yesterday doing a late afternoon trek on some of the lower holes of the SLO with some great bait (Klamath roe) and high hopes.  SLO is super slow and clear, no evidence of fish whrer I was at, though I heard a rumor of at least one caught further upstream earlier in the day.

I'll get there, buddy!  It was the correct call to use the WAF and time/travel factors later, when the percentage is greater.

Pray for rain.

I tossed out the anchor cracked a beer and waited for them to leave

The waiting must have been killing you, even with a beer in hand! :smt044  Great stuff

Anytime you want to go Adam with your Patience you will do well.
You don't have to have an anchor there are a lot of places where I nose up on a gravel bar or just drift through the holes.

I have a spare boat all set up but it's up at Tahoe I just need to get it down here anybody going to SouthShore and can bring my boat to the BA or Sac.?????.
Or you could borrow Shimmy's boat he doesn't fish anymore :smt064
Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.
