cold winds ripped across the clear lady at ludicrous speed today. I was able to find protection but that isnt where the fish are. There were moments of calm and that was when you could slow down the presentation and take victims. But, while in battle or trying the measure/photo, the wind would gust again and bring chop going for the highside. Lost my hog trough on one of the waves and the C2C hipsnap was the only thing that kept me from swimming. Definately a paddle in hand kind day.
I did manage 1 buckethead that was healthier than the standard issue. Couple of the basscar guys were kind enough to help me out with a weigh in and photo. 7.5#s of fun. I road the chop back to the launch then headed to the house and unloaded everything. then ,of course, the sun comes out and winds died.
Ill still consider this a perfect day. :spiderman:

Wow! Nice fish Terry. The water doesn't look too bad in that one shot but it comes and goes wherever you are. Looks cold you are well bundled. Maybe we will get new hog troughs this year?

The Clear Lady produces another winter hog!  Thanks for the report.  Obviously the secret agents are working, but what artificials might work up there in the winter?

WTG Terry... with the fish that you guys have been pulling out of that lake this winter... I may not be able to wait for Spring. Time for the Savage to bundle up... now recruiting agents for some action...

Solid, way to go man.  A catch like that makes venturing out in crap weather totally worth it.   :smt023
