Under cloak and dagger we approached the lake at sunrise.Upon recieving a supply of secret agents we decended to the launch site. Cool morning air with a crispness to it and mountains shrouded in fog made the mission today of the utmost importance. To catch my first ever largemouth bass. With stealth and cunning I stole my way to the SPOT. I was tutored briefly before departure on how to warily entice the fish to my floating headquarters. The first one was subdued shortly after arriving to a predestined location unable to be divulged at this point. This specimen measured out at a length of 18 inches. After a short while the fleet of marauding pirates were on the move. Whilst traveling to the next secret rendevous One of my agents was attacked unbeknownst to me. Thank goodness my new associate was wise enough to instruct me to kindly look at my instrument of death, which was bent completely over and touching the water. I somewhat clumsily removed the weapon from its pod and proceeded to land a 20 inch target specimen. To the delight of myself during the photo-op I was able to return the favor and quietly informed my associate the he indeed had a bent rod( not that one). After our mission was over we proceeded to the canteen for refreshments and sustenance. Over 8 hours on the water, mission accomplished( no not that mission). I would divulge this location only under severe torture and emotional duress. So don't even think about it. Craig

The hobie was on loan to try to decide on a more stable fishing platform other than my scupper pro. Sharky you have a eye for detail and a memory that is better than mine.We must fish together in 09. Thanks Jedmo. It was a blast.

Didnt get the alert until late NYE that covert ops were going down in my sector. I knew this was going to be tough due to "the Park" closing for the night and having a open bar festivus/feast for the locals. That, and my date was way hotter than the bite would be. Even the agents are struggling.
I knew that they were going to deploy at 0700 but I was lucky to be on the water at 1000.
Still I couldnt think of a better way to bring in the new year than fishing in the backyard with friends.
Things were slow but the victims taken were thick and ready to bring it.
I struggled with the artificials, as everyone is right now, but stuck with this winters theme of going big.
Big swimbaits, big crawjigs, big beavers, and big rips but cant seem to make it happen.
Word on the water is that only the agent is taking fish unless you are deadsticking or a dead dropshot.
tis the season :spiderman:

It was fun spending  New Years day on the water with a few NCKAers. The bite was a little off from a couple weeks ago but a few fish could still be talked into a mid day meal. Everyone caught nice fish during the day from various different locations.

Luckily Terry caught a fish away from the crowd and asked for a photo....I responded with a "i'll be right there" but was beat out by someone a little faster on the draw. While said others were off admiring Hydro's catch my steelhead  rod went bendo with about three feet of it going below the surface and taking line. By the time I got the fish to color I knew it was my turn for the photo-op.....another pig of a bass! Another beautiful day on the water and a tasty lunch afterwards...........

some more satellited shots are making it through the decoding customs now.

I knew I had to get a jump on Allen this year, so i woke up at 3:45am on new years(some call it morning) and thought to myself, Why don't I load up and hit CL today.....I'll probably have the whole place to myself"......so much for dreaming!

pic1~ as soon as I get ready to launch it, here comes ?

pic2~ and we all three hit the lake, soon to be joined by HydroTerry

pic3~Glad I wasn't around, when this huge-round boulder landed right along the shore, after getting hurled into the air by the erupting volcano. Some one could have been hurt.
