colm and i took my big boat to dumbarton on sunday.  we fished at 17 with herring and grass in 10ft of water.  i hooked up on my 1st cast!  the fish was strong, got it to boat several times, but it was reluctant to get in the net.  10 minutes or so later i landed a fat 53" sturgeon.  that was out only bite.  some other boats hooked up, some skunked.  colm fished that area from his yak today-no dinos.
yester found some of my columbia river action on you tube-scroll down thw thread.

yeah that is the fish. man, i have good form! :smt002
that rod/reel belongs to the guide, dan. i think it was a shimano reel with 100lb line.  it was a right handed model. i am much stronger with a left hand setup,  i use left handed avets around here.

After watching KF battle that oversize dino we should call you Schwarzennegger! Man, that looked tough. How long did you battle that brute until you got it to the boat?

Way to go, CKP, but what's up with the BlueBalls video?  I thought there'd be a pay-off at the end!   :smt005 :smt002
