Great report so far Adam.  Look forward to the rest.  Sounds like a successful day.

Sean, is that the Shimano aerated bait tank in your well?  If so, how do you like it?  Is it worth the scratch?  I've seen it, had it in hand (several times), and have always put it down figuring that dragging a bucket isn't that bad.

It was slow at first. Then we found them hungry and attacking. I tried to hit the outskirts of the active hot zones. See fish on FF and drop it down to them...wait...wait...feel thud...then reel carefully.....just like the goodbook said.

pic1~picked skull on rock....it's what's for dinner

pic2~ a little better than a RegularCLSI

pic3~ 22" of Fightin'Bitch!!  hooked her top-lip&dead-center....they fight harder that way for some reason?

Got her up to color, after a few back-paddles, side-pulls and heart-stoppings. She had the biggest head i've ever seen at the end of my lite-tackle, so I just let her swim it out, then gently scooped her up as I stuck my thumb down her throat, closed my hand and yelled.....YES!!!! hoot'd&haller'd for the whole world to hear!!
It was a PersonalBest LargeMouth and it was VERY AOTY needed!!

pic1~ yeah!....she was big,fat and pretty!

pic2~ Richmond Park Bar&Grill is the spot for warming, filling, drinking and Post-FishingBS'n!!.......WE NEED TO DO A MBF HERE IN THE SPRING TIME

pic~ Good Chowder!, good chowder

two weeks in row....a target has been hit!

Man, after seeing the entire report, I don't know what is better, the fish or the grub.  I just had lunch and yet I'm still salivating.

Way to go on the PB Adam.  Definitely a fish to be proud of.  And is that skull of a carp?  I remember hearing or reading about a big die-off not to long ago at CL.

Sean, I've seen the "U" hat in many of your recent posts.  I've got to ask, is there any significance to it or just a new favorite hat?

Indeed another fun day in man heaven.  Tons of bass, great times, and killer grub.  It was however, FREEZING.  I was layered up like I was going snowboarding and still got cold.

Ukiah Lions...Jellys team.  Although I generally want to hit him with a shovel these days, I still got his back.

It is a really well conceived product.  I got mine at OEX before getting on the Islander this fall.  It has their upgraded pump etc.  For sardines etc it is outstanding, and fits the Trident like a glove.  For fussy salt bait I do think its worth the cash, but it wouldn't be worth it for minnow only use.  It is huge though so I use it for CL as we went thru 36 agents in about 3.5 hours.

One of these days!!!
coming up in spring.....be there!  or any day it's not snowing or a wind storm is coming.

Nate~ it worked great!...no water intrusion at all! and it's black&drk.blu= it warms in the UV rays.
