WOW!! Just got an email that I won "2" tics for the Sacramento Expo. Only put in my name on Friday. My son and I go every year. I remember that last year very few people won. Just wanted to let you all know.  :smt006

It's four days as usual...used to be five days many years ago. Last year, I was surprised to win a pair of tickets from two different raffles. I'd like to check out the Sacramento show, but it's just too far of a drive to justify. If I drove that far, I'd be wanting to fish somewhere on the Sacramento or American River, or go to one of the Indian casinos.

if you guys can make it, be sure to bring your reels.  i'll be at the san mateo show all four days, working on fishing reels.  they're giving me a booth for free.  i'll be charging only a small amount plus the cost of parts.  i'll be doing several seminars during the day as well.  alan

NCKA'ers will get special treatment at this year's ISE in San Mateo (Thursday, 1/8 thru Sunday, 1/11).  All members will be offered a special 2-for-1 online coupon.  Stay tuned for the link on our site.  I'll let you know when it goes live.

Why... you ask?

NCKA has been invited to do a daily workshop at the ISE's new Fishing Workshop area.  I'll be at the daily workshops along with Allen Bushnell, Zee, and other NCKA personalities.

Also, NCKA will be doing a special seminar at noon on Saturday, January 10th

We''ll also do our AOTY Awards Ceremony sometime on Saturday.  I'll post more info on this soon.

Come out and show your support.  It'll big like a big NCKA party.  Plan on being there!!!! :beer2

Alan, that's great. I was just thinking, I wonder if Mr Alan Tani is doing any reel maintenance/repair seminars any time soon. I think I have reel or two that may need your attention!
