I just bought one Saturday. I was going to use it in my bike ride Sunday to capture any downhill carnage but something came up and I didn't get to go.

It's looks easy to attach to pretty much anything. It comes with attachment that have 3M sticky tape on them. I haven't had much time to check video quality yet but the demo videos look good.

bsteves has one.

Actually Sean I had access to a couple cheap helmet cams from work.  We were using the Oregon Scientific ATC2k (~$90) and attaching them to crab traps.  They never worked well on the the traps because there was a lot of sea lettuce and the lens kept getting covered.

Anyway, I borrowed one and played with it a bit.  The audio sucks and the video was limited at the time to the 1 Gb card we had (short video w/ good quality or long video with bad quality).

Since then the company has come out with a new model or two that can handle the new SDHC cards (4-8 Gb) so the now you can do longer videos with better quality.

I think having a few of these cheap cams mounted in different ways (helmet, vanity, stern mount, etc..) on your kayak and continuously running would get you enough footage to edit a pretty decent solo little fishing show.

There are a couple other waterproof helmet cams out there and I found a decent review.

Looks like a helmet cam called the Tachyon XC gets the best scores and at $150 isn't too expensive.  The newer Oregon Scientific cameras (ATC5k) does pretty well. The GoPro gets generally low scores except that it excels in waterproofness and its still photo ability.

Thanks Moochy that looks like a cool toy. It is more suited to diving than the other cams in its price range.
