What you need to do is make your OWN structure at Berryessa. Take your Christmas tree after you get all the tinsel, stand,  and junk off it, and attach it to a cinder block with 1/4" nylon rope UPSIDE DOWN, so the trunk will float the tree off the bottom, and throw it into 20-30 FOW. I try to put them at different depths from 10' at full pool to 100' deep.., so you have structure at any water level. If I can find an old tire in the lake before the lake rises, I tie it off to that. I get all of my neighbors trees, and "haul" them away for them. I make bass "condos". Soon the Christmas tree will become waterlogged and sink, which makes even better habitat. The bass club I used to belong to got all the unsold trees from 2 Home Depots after Christmas a few years back, and placed them all over the lake, mostly in no wake zones. They REALLY make a difference. And then you KNOW where to fish.
