Used my new Guardian lights tonight on my kayak.
Can't see the kayak but you can sure see the lights.
Worked like a charm.
Even caught a fish.

Good job, Tote!
Is that a sore on that fish or just a reflection?
When you have a chance, can you take some shots of how you configured the lights? Did you mount them on poles or just put them on the deck?
Thanks

Whats the deal on those lights?  They look great and I want to do something similar.

Just finished rigging my trident with nav lights. Will post in the rigged kayak section. Used Perko bow and stern lights. They came out really slick, but probably not as cool as Mike's. Don't fish the delta at night without them, IMHO.

You can shop around but I ordered them from REI and had them delivered to the store.
Figure $15 each. I paid the extra 1.05 each as opposed to ordering from someone else just to get the REI guarentee. They will take back anything.
Amazon was the least expensive but I do not know what their shipping charges are.

Hey Tote, have you set your trident up with a quick release anchor yet?
If you did, could you post some pics, I need to set one up and remember you had a pretty slick setup. I could never open up the pics you posted from before...Waaa!!

Took some pics of the final rigging for the lights.
All it took were 4 eyepads and hardware, small diameter bungee cord, 2 plastic clips and a little Gorilla Glue to coat the knots on the bungees from ever coming undone.
Easy on and easy off and will not get lost or create a problem if I flip

PICS:
1..Front light sequence rigging
2..Same
3..Final front light
4..Final back light.

great job tote. nice placing of the white light so far back to help preserve your natural nightvision.
another thing ive learned (the hard way) about deck lights and head lamps is that they are a beacon that insects swarm to on those warm summer evenings.
im not positive but you may need a green light to be legal if that is a concern of yours.

Brilliant Tote. Simple, easy, and cheap. Just my style.

BTW if you wanted to make it legal they sell a green light too. All you'd have to do is string them up next to each other.
