SBD and I spent the day in familiar waters but the bass fishing was pretty slow. Basscar was struggling too and most are blaming the full moon. SBD nabbed a few standard issues early on and all were thick and strong but none pulled as hard as the kittens that were out on the feed. I managed one solid largemouth just as we were headed back to the barn. All in all a great day on the water.

Nice cats and bass guys.  Looking forward to some more big winter bass pics from CL over the next few months.

the kittens that were out on the feed...one solid largemouth

"Solid" is too humble - that thing's huge!  And the kitties too!   :smt001

this fish wasnt a upgrade for me so I didnt take the time to measure and released it back to continue hunting in the shallows.
There is a bellyboat TOC on the clear lady this weekend I was wondering if you were going to participate. I hope the fishing turns on for them but its been pretty tough this week.

Nope. I don't do tourneys.  :smt002

My guess is it will improve a bit. But the bigger fish might not be on the mood. You never know about CL though. You caught that one when it was really tough.

The Park is sooOOooo relaxing.  Fish, beer, fish.  I am a little burnt out on the commando madness of AOTY.  It was fun to fish just for fun!  The kittens fought surprisingly strong.
