Found this little piece of info on the sniffer board.

Was out there this evening...fish seem to be hanging tight, and maybe if the guys in the boats tried hugging tight, or running planer boards, it might be a different story.

Angels Creek ramp is closed, and the entire area including the fish cleaning station is gated off.  Seems pretty stupid to have people buy passes, and they gate them out of area's.  The road out Glory Hole Point is gated too, almost seems like they are discouraging bank fishing.  Not very fishing friendly, in my opinion.  Took a Mt. Bike ride out to check out Angels Creek, you can hear the creek running, it's been a while since that has happened.  Next time, I take my pole on the bike, just have to finagle a way to hang on to every thing.  I guess I need to go to "Slim's School of MT. Bike Fisihing"

Cool thing about the anual pass.  60 bucks, or 30 for you seniors.  They issue you a plastic card.  Good for 2 people, and 1 boat.  You can use it with your friend, and his boat.  hint, hint.

I'm thinking this might affect plans for Sunday. :smt009

On a side note, I just checked my camera and it is "freeze proof" down to 14 degrees so at least that may be functioning.  My fingers may not operate but at least I know the camera will.

So where can we launch and fish? I'll be staying at my brothers in Jamestown. From his place I usually launch at G/H or the 49 bridge

Snapperhead,

Most launched from Angle's Cove last year and myself and Brian launched from GH.  I've been toying with the idea of launching from the 49 bridge tomorrow although I'll probably go with the majority just for the camaraderie.

BTW, I just called GHS and they said that the Angel Cove launch ramp is closed because the ramp is out of the water.  He did go on to say that people are still fishing down there.  This indicates to me that if we brought wheels, we could still probably launch.  Food for thought.

Thanks Brian,
Just wanted to thank you for getting this group together.
I met a lot of new people from NCKA and was fortunate to fish with some true madmen willing to stick it out in the wind and cold.
I would like to also congratulate Eric B. who beat me with a tip. (I'll let Brian explain that one)
Again my Son and I had a great time and wanted to thank Brian G. for putting this together.
