Glad to hear you may come down for the event. You should bring Z with you. Notice the at Brian planned a TROUT COMPETITION during TROUT SEASON.  Sorry couldn't help it. June is all saltwater for many down here.

I stayed there in december last year, had the whole place to myself, and it was very nice.  Can get a log cabin that sleeps 4 for only ~60.  it was pretty cool.  Its right across the street from glory hole sports/gas station.

Do you have a contact # for the cabins. I'd go in on one.

My wife is having some health problems and it looks like I will have to miss this trip. Won't know for sure till the day before the event. Really bummed because I was looking foreward to taking on the "trout slayer".

Leaving Fremont Sat at a time TBD, open to the possibility of truckpooling or wagon-training for the trip up...  never been...

I got Friday, Saturday and Sunday off.....any campsites near the water??? I'll be sleeping on the man-van.

I'm definitely in, carpooling with me is welcome, I'm in Modesto. Ive got an extra hull-a-port for my rack and could possibly fit another yak in between.

I will miss it cuz I will be in Cabo-darnit!!! I miss fishing my old haunts; and I even have a place to stay afterwards!!!

Sorry to hear about the wife Scott.  Hope things are OK and she is on the mend.  I'm not good for much, but let me know if there is anything I can do.  Would love to see you at the event but take care of the wife, she comes first!
