The weather is getting colder again and its time to start thinking about trout again. I'll be hosting another even at New Melones on Sunday Decemeber 14th. Longest trout will take home bragging rights and a prize yet to be determined ( trout combo tbd). Bring your hog troughs as photos of measured fish will be allowed for those wishing to catch and release. No entry fee but bring food for a potluck.

FYI: Melones is charging an entry fee to the lake now.

Ah rats, looks like I'm out.

The wife's company party is the night before and we've already made arrangements to attend.  I realized that the party was the same weekend as last year's event but was banking on the fact that this would happen in early January as was thrown around. :smt010 :smt010 :smt010

We can always do a money between friends for another weekend in January.

I'm going to have hot choco and coffee this year to fend off the frosty temps.

OK, so I'm in!!!!  WOO HOO!  The wife got home from Chicago last night and we discussed that weekend.  I'll be getting home late from the party that Saturday night and will basically be running on fumes but hey, I get to go fishing!!

James -

I could pick you up at N Livermore if you want to carpool. I can carry 2 yaks and gear, also good for the carbon footprint. :smt003 We can split the gas and launch fees.
