So Ive been out about 5 times the last 2 weeks and it goes like this.I whould ride the incoming trolling a lead head, rattletrap, broken back rappala or a streamer fly to pumphouse area.Got a couple schooleis.I whould anchor out @ different spots and through try live shinners, bull heads, ordead bait .For the amount of time i put in I got i got a nice face tan.On the ff i was seeing100s of big fish Icouldnt get a big bite  :smt011,I did land a5.5foot leapord,A couple of big rays.I was very frutrated seeig so many big boils next to me,and me throing every thing @ them :smt010 Im convinced that what i saw were salmon,no dinos yet.

Welcome aboard, ElDorado.  Thanks for the report - any report with "salmon" in it is unique at this point!   :smt001

Now, Adam and I would like to politely request some photos next time!   :smt002

Hola Adam,Thats funny,I look like a racoon.Im glad I told my wife where I really was.I ruined my camera and havent replaced it but I will soon.On the incoming out there and back and forth Isaw 4 of what looked 2me 2be small salmon-steelhead?.With all ff really big fish symbols, my addrenaline was peaked.Even with no really nice fish ,the thrill, the persuit and the natural up close beauty keeps me coming back.I think its time 2 start tossing for mister dinno.Ill keep in touch.

Thanks for the report, lack of success with that much effort is some useful info.  That's a long ass drift too.

In the past at this time of year I've seen sealions ripping big salmon to shreds a little farther up under the carquinez bridge and in the Martinez area.
