If you're thinking about going here, the next few days should be good.  I got out at 8, warm and a little more offshore breeze than I thought there would be, but it died off in the next hour, and it just got nicer and nicer as the day went on.  There was some long period swell, but I could go anywhere except right into the rocks.  I spent a lot of time in 100-200 fow. And I got out past the second point and could see down Big Sur, lots of smoke from the forest fire there.  I landed at 1:30 after 10 miles.
Best action early and late. 21" olive, and an 18"verm, several other olives about 15".  Other assorted smallies. No ling love.  All on the troll, the usual for the verm ; used the pvc diver I made last nite for some of the others including the big olive.  I need to tweak it a little more - I thought 4 lb test would break easily with the big olive which fought well, but it didn't.   Photo of diver to follow maybe tomorrow- get your chuckles.  Must have been 80 deg on the beach.

Glad you got out, it sounded like nice weather. I was thinking of going out tomorrow, might opt for Coral st. ??? but could be tempted to fish Stillwater, will sleep on it.
