Nope - only child  (at least to my knowledge!)   haha!

strike two  :smt011

NewChick...I was hoping you'd have a twin sister  :smt002

By the way, we haven't met...or rather introduced ourselves. My name is Joel aka Mooch and here's a recent picture of me...just in case you have any single friends who enjoy kayak fishing as much as I do:

Well hello!  I'm Michelle!  I might have a couple single friends I could round up - though not really the outdoors type..... but I can teach them :)

Yeah - he's my ex from high school (thought that might bring some excitement to the group).  I think I have more female connections than him :)

We don't need any stories about my past circulating around.

Welcome New Chick! If you're going to look at the Caper, had one & weighed in at 50lbs with two flush mount rod holders, look at the Cobra Navigator. It is a little bulkier at 12'6" versus 11'0" but it only weighs about 1 or 2lbs more and paddles oh so much better/straighter/faster. That's what I've been using for the last two ocean seasons and I'm very happy with it although the heavier more expensive Hobie's with their mirage drive's are very tempting. I actually put an 8" hobie hatch with tackle tray in my nav. Works out great to have all your tackle right at arm's reach but secure under a hatch.  Whatever you end up with you'll be stoked fishing with people like Brian and Mooch. See you OTW.   jim/redyak
