We waited in Petaluma till almost noon for minnows at the csba earlier this year. Late delivery and they had to come down off thier minnow shipping drugs for an hour, the wait was pure agony.

I called around the east bay today from Hayward.
Mikes bait (not sure of the name) said that they have jumbo minnows but they are not as big as normal.

Hello folks, I am getting my minnows in Napa Friday morning. His large
minnows he claims are 31/2 long. How big are the jumbos I hear you
guys talked about? And where is the bait shop in Petaluma located?
Thanks for the help fellas.

Got my minnows this morning from CB&T!  They definitely had jumbos!  These were about 3in - 3.5in length.  One surfaced belly up after dropping in the bucket, so he tossed in two more to make up for it.  Feed the floater to my cats :)

Unfortunately I couldn't find a better aerator (Mel's was out of them) so I fixed my old one by finding the leak in the plunger thingie and patched it with some super glue and a small piece of electrical tape. That and the other one I bought, I guess ill run two of them until my patch fails.

hey y'all   :smt006 this is my bait transporter-I figured I spent about $70 bones so far, ($50 for the pump) but some parts I had on hand.
Start by getting 3 beers out of the fridge. good beers none of that crappy beer please!, Get a couple car cig lighter extensions Radio shack, some bullet connectors (osh), wire ties, shrink wrap, transformer (1 amp), 9 volt battery connector, fuse holder/2 amp fuse. velcro, a rivet and some black tape, twisty lock cable ties and a 5 gal osh bucket! I will write more detailed instructions at a later date.. and post to the gear up page but for now here it is...What is nice about mine is no only did I make it, but it will work on the car 12 volt, the battery pack 6 volt or the wall plug (with transformer, not shown) and  I can move it to my empty cooler afterwards to take home my winning fish(es) :metal  :nemo: :smt110

Hey Al If you don't see this tonight I'll let you know tomorrow when I get to the lake.  West Marine (In Santa Cruz store) has a smaller version of an aerator like what I got. and half the price!  $24.95.
