Not much to report. Launched at 7:45 in a light breeze and small chop. Paddled out past the rock wall to sharky's spot trolling a jointed rapala type lure. Worked the north edge of the channel pretty thoroughly with frozen anchovies. Headed back along the wall stopping every so often to drift the anchovies some more. By the time I reached the big hole in front of the first part of the wall, the breeze had died and the sun was coming out and I met George, another kayak fisher who had just launched. Nice to meet you George. He donated a live bullhead for my line so I took another tour around the edges of the hole, and then across the middle. By the time that was finished the bullhead was deceased, and I was ready to go. No fish, no bites, takedowns or scratches anywhere on my tour. I did see fish on the FF several times, but couldn't get them to bite. George, I hope you did better than I did.

Thanks for the report fishinmike. Two or three weeks ago when I was there, there
were tons of bait in the water. Sometimes you look at your FF and there would
be clouds of bait in the water. Was there any signs of bait in your FF? I would
love to try halibut fishing one more time before it is all over till next year.

Yes, on my FF I saw cloud like marks with a bunch of fish symbols inside the cloud in several places. I think that indicates a bait ball.
