Shicken and I are going to have another shot at HMB early Saturday morning. There is a good chance the bait receiver will have live chovies; this is your chance for Yao Ling!!

I think HMB bait is $25 a half scoop! At this time of year the inner harbor should be FULL of bait. If you wanna save $$, what I would do is tie up under the main pier, just to the north of the yak tent. Get a chumline going, and use sabikis. You have a good chance of making bait fast. Chovies, dines and smelt are all in there. Those smelt are ling candy! You can always do plan B for $25 if they arent cooperative. Also look for marks, or birds working the outer harbor...Ill be down there early,( G dock) but sucking diesel fumes as DH on a PB. Ill give ya a holler on ch 69..Whats yer ETA?

We'll meet at 6am in the main parking lot by the yak rentals.

Unfortunately time will be limited (I have to be off the water by 11.30) so we'll probably stick to buying bait. I did see folks catching smelt there last weekend.

Give us a shout Sharky! I want that job!

I was considering either HMB or Bean Hollow, but since I have never fished Bean Hollow I think I'm going to head that direction. Good luck!
