Lodi Lake report

My niece and brother were up for the weekend. My brother said Josie ( the niece wanted to go 'boating'). Saturday afternoon I picked up a zest 2 just for her . Future kayakfishingwoman in the making.


Talking the niece through the game plan for the day.


Josie thinks uncle Brian G is nuts but she's game.


She gets a comfy seat and prepares for an epic day on the water. She got to see turtles, ducks and lots of little bass ( 6 - 8 inchers)


Its hard work being so cute and she needed a water break.


She was so tired from paddling papa had to hold the bottle for her to drink. She actually did some paddling.


Switch off to papa in the tandem ( the newly purchased Zest 2)


She didn't quite get that the Zest was a tandem boat. 


Neither papa or Josie seem to mind using the tandem in a non standard seating arrangement.


Finally, Josie's game plan shows through and she's napping while papa does all the hard work.
