These are the two tunnels they are drilling through DevilSlide. When are complete, the "old" highway section will become "pedestrian and bicycle" traffic only...UNTILitALLcomeCRASHINGdownAGAIN!...which reminds me of this lil'didy.

...I'm 45min. into my journey and less than 25min away from the destination.
pic1~Tunnel Bypass just getting started

pic2~ Half Moon Bay...Mavericks(BIGwave) is on the otherside of the radar tower(in winter of coarse)

pic3~ the Humback that was using us as a tool for his food collecting purposes.

....aSIDEnoteOFaLIFETIME:  we we the farthest outside and could hear the whale exhale...it would go north and then return south, doing circles. Nate/Bungle and i were lucky to be facing west, when it comes straight up and out of the water VERTICALY, then slides back down in slow motion, then disappears.....til it surfaced in between us(literally no more than 20ft.?)
I didn't know whether I should:
A)shit pants
B) paddle away as fast as possible
C) shoot a pic!
....IdidALLthree,BUTinREVERSEorder! :smt003

Sean~ BEAN HOLLOW and ALL who Yak-Fish it...thanks you for protecting!

We could even launch up north and park my pickup at BH for shuttle service.  San Gregorio to BH?

Cool pics Adam.  I would like to do a point to point fish in a number of locations...I think something like that would be super fun.

Don't worry Allen, he found him  :smt005 Had to hear that all day long...

Had a good time out there with everybody.  It was cool to see Scwafish make the long trip down to KILL it.  I went the "zero or hero" (empahsis on ZERO) route with a big grub half the day before switching to a megabait.  Not only was it a little easier on my arm, but I started catching cabbies with it.  Kept the biggest for a slight upgrade.

The whale was nutty.  A little too close for comfort at times!

I'm down to head north next time, Adam.
