Eric,
Thanks for the info on the Kelp and the video, too. Where is Bear Harbor and how does a Mendonite get there?

Thanks Eric, good stuff as always.

I'll have to remember to try sticking my head in a Fruit Loop box next time I'm bored.

Thanks for the kind words, All.   :smt001

Dude!  That's TOP SECRET!!!  Get your Google on, Bro!   :smt003

101 north to Redway, Shelter Cove road west to Whitethorn turn off, through Whitethorn to Four Corners, down into Sinkyone 30 minutes on a one lane dirt road with death cliffs.  It's that easy.   :smt002  Bring your yak wheels and your juevos - it's known to be "sharky"...  and be sure to call me if you're going.  Oh, and btw, the road is closed all rainy season - it's too steep, dirty, and has creek crossings.

Did I mention the fire-breathing dragon?...   :smt004

I'll have to remember to try sticking my head in a Fruit Loop box next time I'm bored.

It only works for really cute 5 year olds!  Try a Redhook box - I'm not familiar with a big Portland microbrew, so talk to Bryce.   :smt001

Haha, that's great Eric, now I REALLY want to go, and you betcha I am gonna give you a call when I go.

I tried Google search and Google Earth and found little of relevance to lead me there, so I went to the source!  :smt003 Thanks for the directions, I appreciate it.

Eric:

Great report, you truly have some of the best posts of NCKA.  I am planning a trip up to the lost coast in early Oct. I will have to PM you for some directions to that spot.
