Trident 13 for Elk!!!

Thats right, a brand new Trident 13 will be on site for a lucky angler to take home. 

If you haven't seen one yet, this is a VERY sweet all around 13 footer.  Somebody is going to be stoked!!!

Oh man!!!  If you only knew what happened last year.  I had my ling in the cockpit with me and I was pretending he was trying to call you on my vhf and tell you not to go in, but alas, he couldn't!!!    He was suffering from blunt force trauma, oh the poor little guy. 

Then, while paddling back my gps took a sheet and I paddled into the wrong cove.  I looked at my watch and I had 30 minutes to weigh the bad boy.  I started paddling like a mad man, way faster than any hobie could have traveled in those rough seas.  I kinda figured thats why you went in early too. 

As I sprinted up the path I wondered how it would feel to win the Elk Fiesta, it is truly the greatest fishing derby of the year.  Then the ling gets weighed and it comes in a few pounds heavier than yours.  The fat ling sings indeed. 

Anyhoot, going stealth at Elk isn't such a bad idea.  JTF

it was only 1 lb. Heavier, ...

And it would not have been that if Something didn't take a Bite out of it's tail

The Ling was kinda sickly, would have been a Shame if it Had won actually...

Glad you were able to " Overcome " all that Adversity

And redeem yourself from the "Thresher Slashing",,,,

 Were sort of Even now,  Go Big or Go Home....

OH dam. on A happier note,hey Don do you think you can deliver my trident 13 to your fire house,I will pick it up after my ten day vacation/ tour de norte coast. thats right I had so much fun last year its happening again, and maybe I'll catch another Canadian girl .

OH MY GOD!!!  Thresher Slashing???   That thing you caught was puny, it had probably just been squeezed out of it's mothers womb and was dumb hungry when it hit that sardine you were drifting in an area you spot rushed when you saw the true kings of that contest fishing it.     I think you hooked its umbilical cord if I'm not mistaken?

 Wow, I did not know you owned the whole Bay at the time.  You guys were at least a 1000 yds away and

 fishing shallow, Looking for another Baby  I guess....

I was in 50 fow, bobbing a piece of stale cut Sardine, I really don't think I was rushing the " Kings ",

 Besides,

I was fairly new at the Game and did not Deem myself "Worthy" to be near such Royalty...

  So I tried to keep my distance......                                  



 BTW, That's not a Trident you posted,

   Does not help me at all plan how I'm Going to Rig it for the Future ......
