Hey Sean,  On my drives on 101 along the Hopland/Cloverdale reach of the Russian in summer, I notice the water is more cloudy than I would expect.  Rivers like the Eel and such run a lot clearer at this time of the year.  Is this turbidity due to the bottom release from the Coyote dam, more suspended sediment?

No one is sure why the relaese from Coyote is so turbid, but it IS the cause.  The USACE will have to figure it out soon as part of ESA compliance.
