Say Eric, I thought I carried a lot of "stuff" on my yak when fishing.....is the a tripod strapped down to the hatch cover?????  Sheesh I'm gonna have to step-it-up with my gear packing!

Funny, mudshark, I used to harp about pics, but now people do it for me and invoke my name as their cause!  It's like an urban (internet) legend now:  "for Abking" or "Abking would want pics..." etc.

John - check this post http://www.norcalkayakanglers.com/index.php/topic,13689.0.html and you can see my tripod in one of the photos (shot w/ 2nd camera  ).  The "Gator Hatch" on the X-Factor is tall and has webbing in front, so I can support the tripod's legs and the business end hangs just in front of my lap and out of my paddling motion.  It's been working quite well.  Yes, I take a crapload of stuff with me.

 I could not have picked a Better 2 weeks to be on Vacation..

 But the Gig is up as I go back on the Forth

 And Gods Knows what after that...

I can't believe How bad things are already and we have not even gotten started yet....

 On the way Home from Washington on the Plane,

 I kept looking down and always saw a Fire, Unbelievable....

 It's going to be LoooooooonnnnGGgggg Summer.....

Keep your chin up, Brother Don.  The boys will keep you sane - just keep thinking of adventures you can take them on when you're off.   

Collin (my 5 year old) told me he wants to go fishing from the rocks at Fish Bay!  We're going on the fourth - I can't wait.

I hear ya - mine can just about push me to the limit too. 

No shed to lock the twins in, but I'll pay 'em to babysit Coll and Claire, she's eight, while we fish!   Are they old enough?

Not this Year,  I'm working Hard on them this Season,  Guess that's why it's so exhausting...
