the bite is getting better in SC

If Bayside is to be believed, some dude caught a HUGE striper from the surf casting a pencil popper in front of manresa this week. 

I have often wondered if you trolled a big shallow diving plug just past the surf line say, cement ship to NB what are the odds of stripers?

big stripers do come out of the NB-sunset beach strip.  There used to be this old philipino guy who lost his license so drove a riding lawnmower from Watsonville to Palm beach.  On many occasions I saw him come back with a big old striper draped over the hood.  293 year old philpino on a red lawnmower with a 20+ pound fish.  Damn I wish we had cell phone cameras back then!

Saturday launch from new brighton is a no go.   

the paddle board race launching from there will kill the fishing, parking and general fun.

We're now planning to go to natural bridges saturday or new brighton on sunday
