Drove through the fog and heavy drizzle to BH today, arriving at about 6:30.  I got rockstar parking since I was the only one there.  From the road I checked out the wave sets and visualized the best route through the waves.  It was already a little windy and I figured that it was only going to get worse as the day went.

Steve (SAL) and his buddy, Quin arrived about 7 and I started thinking more seriously about the conditions.  After looking at the waves and keeping in mind the previous fish reports we decided to abort and wait for another day.

I did take them down to the Pigeon Point beach so they had more options to consider for future trips.

Hi Gary - Good to show our fellow fishermen on a launch spot. Friday's experience provides no guarantee on Saturday.  :smt002. I heard from somewhere - when you have doubts, don't go. Good call!
