my bud Leo and I launched at rockview, top of pleasure point, SC.
we worked east, but not very far.

we wimped out on daventport/scotts due to the fog; likewise
4-mile.

I got 3 blacks, 5 yellows? and an underling,  Leo got two yellows and
lost something big.  most of the fish in one spot, outside the kelp.

no love on the squid, the black and purple fishtrap was it. one fish
coughed up an anchovy. some red tide on return,  apparently it
was an issue during the week?

I was cavalier on launch and had to take a wave over the bow. oops.

How was the fog up north?

Brendan, killer offer! And from my favorite fishing guide!

however, I got family airport driving duty next two weekends. no Elk, no Big Sur. that's okay, with Mooch and company gone, all the fish will be for me.

in general, work is never ending, so 99% of my fishing will be between SF and moss landing the next year or so, maybe more. there are worst places to be stranded tho,  :smt002

I did take the time to carefully read your Big Sur article yesterday. Great article. You give away quite a few secrets, but I'm sure you have many left. If I get time free unexpectedly, I know where I'm going!

Hopefully I have many years of kayak fishing in front of me, I will do Elk, Big Sur and Bahia Magdalena and pacific mid-baja before they put me in the old folks home.
