Russian River 6/2

Was all ready to head to Mendo this morning but my dog was given me the Evil Eye so since I am taking off next Week I caved.
We went up to my palace up the River and worked till about 2 then took off in the MII but damn dog didn't want to stay in the Yak so we abandoned it and walked up river about a mile found a few points and fished our way back had 2 hits that came off and no fish landed it might have been the 80lb dog swimming in all the good spots that put them off the bite. . He was 1 happy dog swimming everywhere playing with other dogs and sniffing a few rafters that thought he was so cute. Mooch you got to get a dog. It was good spending the whole day with him I can tell he had a great time by the way he is laying at my feet snoring as I write. OK Erik here is a few shots.

What's the water temperature, Mike? Must be warming up if you've got sunbathers afloat.

How come the dog didn't retrive one of those rafters. That would have been a great catch!

    Mike, You scored big on the DAF. Our dogs are with us as much as possible....Mama (Lily)  and her baby boy Red  (now 8-years old)  are under my desk as I type. Red has been coming to work everyday since he was four days old. All the pups were loaded in a Kiddie swimming pool and hauled to work everyday until they went to their new homes. Ten puppies at work ........just a "bit" of a distraction at the time.
