Baja 08-two days til blast off!!!

I can hardly sleep!  .... Four full weeks in yak fishing heaven.  ..... Mahi, Hydrospider, Seahunter, Zilla and even good old Jelly couldn't pass up this trip.  .....

Can I put my name in for an '09 pilgrimage? I just got back from Riviera Maya - Akumal - no fishing  but lots of water time in fins and snorkel as well as a POS resort 'yak. It was a gas. I could stand some more!

Jealousy??? Green with Envy???  Darn Tooot'n I am. Good luck finding all the contraband items I stashed under your trucks..........just kidding.   Have a GREAT time Catch lots of exotic fish and then eat them!!!!   Gee I hope rock fish season is still open when you get back.


ps The fellas running the "roadside inspections" really like Pringle chips, Red Vines, and  Beef Jerky, so we always bring plenty.

Awesome!  Have a great time.  My wife and I drove down in '95 for our 1 year Anniversary.  3 days down, 3 days in Mulege/Bahia de Conception, and 3 days back.  That was probably my first time in/on a (rented) SOT! Stops in Bahia de Los Angeles and San Quintin, among others I don't recall!  I'd love to do that again with way more time, like a month, like you!  Can't wait for the reports.   

P.S.  Regarding clams, they were so thick on the beach we were camping on and we harvested a bunch, but wasn't aware of the regs at the time.  Had no issues though.  I think bsteves posted something about this in another thread recently...
