Hands free sun block

Just a heads up.  I've started using nutregena's hands free sunblock, spf 35 while surfing and its been working pretty well.  It looks almost like a lip balm and you just rub it on the same way.  Needless to say its almost ideal for fishing cause your not rubbing it all over hands mixing scents or having to carry around soap to wash your ahands after application.  Its only downside is its kinda pricey (like 8 bucks for a small stick and the first bar I got melted in my car (on a hot @ss day, probably more my fault)  I found another one from a company called headhunter, I haven't tried it yet.

I just discovered these too. Walgreens has their own version in the same stick form for a little less $$$$. Still, these are great for our "in action" use to avoid smearing fish and bait parts on yourself when you need a sunscreen touch up. They easily fit in a vest pocket where you might actually use it.

Just thought I'd put a post in as I think this an interesting subject.  A buddy of ours, Ed, has a saltwater aquarium at home and threw little bits of food in the tank and the fish gobbled it up, later he applied a small amount of sun block lotion to his arms and then threw the same food in the tank, the fish wanted nothing to do with it.  
I think the stick is a great idea, I've also seen a spray-on product.  Worth the $ in my opinion as I like to catch fish.  I hardly ever put sun block on but I know I gotta make a better effort in protecting myself.  Peace Out and Tight Lines, Lou Dog

Whats wrong with these Companys that make sunblock you would think that with all the fishermen using it they would make an anchovy or shrimp based sunscreen maybe worm or crawfish scent for freshwater. Of course make it waterproof so it would never wash off then eveythig you touch would attract fish and repel almost everything else.

Think of the possibilities

You could spray it on your lures,

If you buddy flipped his yak instead of helping him just remind him he smells like shark bait and I'm sure he would get back in pretty fast,

Or you could just let him attract fish for awhile and fish in his slick,

Lend it to surfers,

Never have to buy deodorant or cologne again,

No annoying people sitting next to you when you go to the movies,

Wife would say you already smell like you've been fishing you might as well go.  

Wally World has some for $3.50 per stick
