ELK derby/fire pits

Hey you guys,does anyone know if there are any fire pits in the area where we are going to be camping up in ELK?It would be nice to have a camp fire during the evening time.Also SKYBOY are you going to the ELK derby?If you want to fish Linda Mar call me at (650)892-7554 and we'll meet up at the sight.For the Elk derby I have a 18' ZODIAC and am wondering if I should bring  it to the Elk derby for emergency purposes and am not sure if I'll be able to launch the ZODIAC at the Kayak launch sight.If anyone would like to go abbing on the Zodiac we can do that also.See you guys soon,be safe on the water.

Hey lonny,  chefstafano is going to lindamar tomorrow night, I told him I would join him, do you want to too. My cell is 650-290-2149 6:30pm in the parking lot across from dennys.

Lonny-There aren't individual fire pits.  There might be a group fire pit, I'll check this weekend.  There is no realistic way to get a Zodiac down the hill, but that is a kind offer.

Guys, I bought a real nice heavy duty stand alone fire pit (think it is call a FireBoy) last year for situations such as this where pits are not typically available or in the right place. If this is the answer to our needs, let me know and I will bring it. It's still in the box. What a great way to break it in!!

Bob-I'll ask for sure this weekend, but I don't think it will be a problem.  Would make a nice addition.
