It's On!!! Call back Hunter and let him know the " Good News " and the Gang shows...

Did look a little disgusting, if your thinking it was " Poop " floating out there, but Really it had the
looks and " Smell " of Algae.... I hope ... OK, enough poty talk, How bout the Fishing....

Slow and Hot, as in Temperature...

Few take downs here and there, few 21 and 3/4's shakers, Bat Rays, Leopards and Good Times
Hanging with NCKA type folks.... :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004 :smt004

Nice!  You rigged your fish trap up side down but I guess it didn't matter.  WTG
Good luck and tight lines.

Great pics&port, as the mADmAnM himself says, but I think your spell-check from Arkansas has transferred from your computer into your brain, Don!   :smt005 :smt002

Floaties AND a BBQ - potentially nasty combo!   :smt078

Looking forward to those fireboat pics!  (Hope you don't accidentally get some topless coeds on innertubes shots  :smt003)

Nice fish...I'm thinking of heading out to Alameda or Berkeley next week (live bait!).
By the way, not to be a party-pooper, so to speak, but we shouldn't be netting undersize halibut, or any halibut to be released. The net can cut their tails and fins which get infected and can kill the fish...it's referred to as "fin rot." Halibut are going to see a LOT of pressure in the coming years, so we need to take care of the babies...Like I said, I'm not trying to spoil the party, it's just an FYI.

No, good point, this particular Hali's tail was a mess.  Hardly anything there!!!!  Usually with the Babes I do get a Release in the water, Kind of thought this one was going to be dinner.

Guess that Fin rot saved his Life, for now.....  :smt009

WTG danglin.  Glad to see you get the hali.  Adam it seems to me you are always at paradise...don't you have a job.  Why is raw sewage spilling into the harbor this time of the year?

It was great meeting everyone.

Thanks for such a great time and a great lunch on Friday - Thanks FisHunter for putting this together!!

The fish could have been a bit more cooperative.  I think there were just enough bites to keep things interesting most of the day.   I thought the fish (unlike us) were staying away from Paradise because of the "crappy" water.  But we did  see at least 3 fish landed from the pier as we ate lunch.
