Good luck.  Last year early season my best luck came from the outer edge of kelp beds ny lighthouse point, using whole squid on a halibut rig. This year seems almost slower than last.

might be worth it to take the time and head to Monterey, where they are biting.

PSI won't be getting out for a while, got a broken arm 3 weeks ago,,,dang!
